Instrument rating

This course is designed and organized to help learn and complete your instrument rating in an efficient and economical time frame.

The following prerequisites need to be met:
- 35 hours cross country pilot in command (PIC)
- 25 hours simulated instrument
- Experience per FAR 61.65*
- Completed FAA written exams (recommended)
- Private Pilot (ASEL)

FAA training minimums for this certificate: Hold a class 3 medical certificate, log at least 50 hours of cross country flight time as PIC with a total of 40 hours of actual or simulated flight hours and pass FAA knowledge and practical exams.
